Where I Place My Focus

Recently I got caught up in an argument. I was focusing on my opinion on what is right and what is wrong. My ego can get engaged in that. I have learned that my ego does not like to be wrong.
Because I focused in on that my upset was with me for a while.
Great.
After finally refocusing on what I would rather experience, the peace, joy and connection, I was reminded again on how powerful the negative can be. How we tend to want to polarize rather than go into harmony and connection.
I forgave myself for getting out of balance and redirected. Like the guided missile getting back on course.
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others.
Peace be still.
