The Spiral

Many times in my life I found myself back in familiar circumstances. Why am I back here? Did I fail? Am I being punished?
Now I realize that when the familiar comes around I can recognize how far I have come and see the healing that has taken place.
It's where I place my awareness...what is the same or what has been healed and let go of.
