The Mask

The ego roles we take on...parent, child, professional, spouse, spiritual, good guy, rebel...are not the authentic self. Just like an actor who takes on a role and plays it well, after the play the mask comes off.
The way we define ourselves from these lower perspectives is where the judgements, shame and guilt can surface. We are greater than the roles we play.
Go to your authentic self, the first cause, the divine, and watch the play from there.
