Spiritual longevity...

Survival isn't physical longevity. Survival is spiritual longevity. If you haven't survived spiritually it doesn't matter how long you live here physically, because your physical body is going to die at some point.

It's interesting to think about how we try to protect something that isn't going to work. If you can really understand what that means, a lot of those things that you now hold "sacred" -- your "sacred cows" and those things that you defend through ego -- will fall from you. At that moment you're free. But you don't have liberation until you recognize and know your own Soul.
