Observation and Fear
"Is fear preventing you from taking action? Acknowledge the fear, watch it, take your attention into it, be fully present with it. Doing so cuts the link between the fear and your thinking. Don't let the fear rise up into your mind. Use the power of the Now. Fear cannot prevail against it."
Observation, the key to letting go. I have been using this technique that I first learned from J-R more and more over the last few years. Tolle's description of it is perfect. I find that when the fear, or any other emotion, sadness, doubt, anger, come up that it has a tendency to feed the mind and then that feeds the emotion, which feeds the mind....etc, etc.
To go in and maybe locate the place in the body where the emotion resides, in the stomach, solar plexus, neck...and just watch it. I find that it usually starts to dissipate. I have heard that it actually begins to dissolve the karma.
I go one step further, I imagine a white Light filling the space, maybe fill the space with love or gratitude.
Again, the hardest part of this process is to actually do it. I find that we can want to go into the negativity, it has a magnetic pull to us.
Go the way of the Master and observe, go to the stillness and watch. May the love come flooding in and fill you.
