Seeking means: having a goal. But finding means: being free, being open, having no goal.”
― Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha We usually define goals as an outer thing...I want a house, car, relationship, job....I want a cookie. If you can go deeper into the essence of the experience you want to have rather than just the "goal" you might find that it can be touched on in the present moment. The essence seems to have layers...quiet, peace, joy. The deeper we go into the essence, into the formless, into the "no goal", into the being, the more we can experience the freedom, the liberation, the divine, The eternally traveling consciousness. And as we travel the road of "no goal" we may see wonders our mind could not have conceived of.
