The more you revere the mind, the greater are the possibilities of your being blinded and bound by its reflection. Don't worship the mind. Worshiping the mind is a form of lower-level cannibalism because it is actually the mind worshiping itself and, eventually, eating of its own self-producing karma. When this happens, you have to go along with the mind because you created, promoted, or allowed this action.
