For many years I thought my worldly success was tied to my spiritual success. This wasn't a conscious belief that I touted, but it was there. Then I got to have a lesson in letting go, in seeing what I was attached to by having "things" in the world shift.
I would have also told you I was not attached to the material. That was a lie and I got to see that lie in full form.
I found out that I was building houses to have a sanctuary, to have a sense of family, to have a sense that I was successful and abundant. I was going outside myself to bring the peace into me. That didn't work. I ended up worrying about the mortgage and the maintenance and the getting bored with the house after a few years and needing to change it. Outside in was not working.
Having my life stripped down to simplicity had me look deeper at the abundance on the inside. Realizing that the wealth and riches were inside me. The Kingdom of Heaven WAS inside. As I tapped into the vastness of the profound beauty inside I started putting that vibration out. The blessings started showing up in my life. Inside out.
So much wisdom I have been told by J-R and others for years, but my own wisdom comes in it's own time.
