Then meditate and allow God to reach into you, tell you, be with you, so you can sense or hear God. It's called "waiting on the Lord." Another way is contemplation, just looking at the wonder of God, being in awe of a sunset, a flower, a baby, another human being -- the attitude of "God did this, it's marvelous!" Watching the surf coming in, listening to birds. There are just so many things we can contemplate where we're in awe of beauty. It's a Zen state, it just is."- John-Roger
J-R has talked about "Praying Unceasingly". After looking at that I realized that I seem to do that anyway. My prayer could be one of fear, worry, failure or it could be of success, joy, bliss. It's my thoughts and images that come through and my "prayer" is charged by my emotions either consciously or unconsciously. I look at it as if I am always planting seeds, either of weeds or of fruit. I am harvesting now what I have "planted" in the past. If I go in and knowingly work the garden I have planted and used the tools of forgiveness, clearing, gratitude, reframing, etc to clear the weeds while I am also using my imagination and visualization techniques to plant the vision that I want more of in my life. So...pray unceasingly for what you want in your life while doing the best you can with the seeds you have planted. It's called clearing karma. And in your prayer always ask for Grace to come in and bring forward the blessings right here and right now anyway. God bless, LLS Richard Painting by Frederic Church
