The Eye of the Needle...

Q: When Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to pass
through the eye of a needle..." did he mean that
material wealth automatically pulls you away from
the spiritual?

J-R: Being attached to the accumulation of material
wealth might be a deterrent to discovering the more
spiritual aspects of yourself. But material wealth
can also be an outer reflection of the inner wealth
and abundance that you are experiencing inside of
yourself. There is nothing "wrong" with having
material possessions. Sometimes they can assist
you to live a more comfortable life so that you can
more easily be of service to others. And many
times sharing the abundance of our material
possessions can be beneficial to others. It's all in
how you handle it inside of yourself.
